A Chingo Bling Xmas

What's been your most memorable Xmas?

"One year my parents didn't have a lot of money to get me gifts but my brother-in-law came through with a big ol' bag. I know he probably spent his whole check on me that year!"

What would be your ideal Xmas?

"Chilling with family, nephews and nieces putting on talent shows, lots of food, snow in H-Town, and giving toys and food to the needy - like Chingo Bling tamales, colouring books and bobbleheads."

What's the best Xmas present you've ever received?

"My nephew Eric was born right around Xmas - that was a good gift that year. He's crazy like his tio [uncle]!"

What's the best Xmas song?

"'Chingo Bells' by me! And 'Christmas In Hollis' by Run-DMC. Oh, and I almost forgot - 'Grandma Got Ranned Over By A Reindeer' (Chopped & Screwed)!"

What's on Chingo Bling's Xmas dinner menu?

"Tamales of course! Por favor believe it!"

Buying That For A Dollar

Just when you've vowed to stop buying so many records in New York (balancing up the cheapness of them versus the damn weight carting them back), you stumble across a random flea market and pick up a batch of one dollar southern tunes, including:

Bubba Sparxxx feat. Petey Pablo 'The Otherside'
Between this and Killer Mike's 'My Chrome' you'd deduce that someone at Purple Ribbon has a bit of an 80s jones.

Lil' Flip 'You'ze A Trick'
Electro cha-cha in the house!

Three 6 Mafia feat. Slim Thug, Trick Daddy & Project Pat 'Stay Fly' (Remix)
The most disco that Slim Thugga has ever sounded.

David Banner feat. Lil Jon & Jadakiss 'Treat Me Like'
Terrible mish-mash of an album track but comes packing 'Bout Our Money' tacked on to the end of the b-side!

Alfamega feat. Ti, Slim Thug & Trina 'Southern Boyz'
The 'Extra Clean' versions comes with the safety warning "No hoes". Helpful and politically correct!

Tow Down feat. Mike Jones & Triple 'Show Your Tattoos'
Still sealed and will probably stay that way but from the title alone it's bound to be brilliant.

There was also a fully-functioning Fonzie pinball machine for only $75. So tempting...
